EUPIDS is excited to announce its first-ever academic conference!
This will be a postgraduate-led conference on issues relating to Palestine and/or Israel. We have now opened our call for papers and are welcoming submissions until the 11th of February. For this conference, we are looking for academic papers written by postgraduate students on topics relating to Israel and/or Palestine, in particular covering politics and social sciences, history and humanities, and law, although other disciplines may be considered. Submitting a paper to this conference is a great opportunity to participate in an academic conference, present your writing to a broad audience and engage in interesting conversations about your research. The papers submitted will be evaluated by a panel of judges made up of academics with experience in the relevant disciplinary area.
We will also be offering prizes for the best presentations, which we will announce in the coming weeks. We look forward to reading everybody's submissions!

What are we looking for?
We are looking for papers written by postgraduate students, from any
university (not limited to the University of Edinburgh), on topics related to Palestine and/or Israel.
We welcome diverse perspectives and papers from any relevant disciplinary background, although nuance and respect are key to all of EUPIDS’ work and we expect papers to conform to these values.
We are searching for well-written, properly referenced and thoroughly researched papers which can contribute to EUPIDS’ goal of breaking down echo chambers and providing an alternative to the polarized discussions that often divide campuses.
